Become a Participant!

Nothing is more fulfilling than your role as an audience member or on stage. We are actively looking for people to enjoy all aspects of the Arts Center. At the Eastport Arts Center, we offer a wide array of arts workshops, theatrical productions, visual arts, live music, and other performances. We seek volunteers, performers, and audience members!

The Eastport Arts Center has grown over its 18 years of existence to include 7 constituent programs. Please click on the links below to learn more about what the Arts Center has to offer.

Our Constituent Programs

Eastport Gallery, 74 Water Street
We are a collective of 30 artists under the umbrella of the Eastport Arts Center. Located on the historic main street of Eastport, 74 Water Street, our gallery offers an array of paintings and sculpture by artists around the Passamaquoddy Bay Area and elsewhere.
Eastport Strings
Founded in 2001 by its directors, Gregory Biss and Alice St. Clair, Eastport Strings is a 30-member string youth ensemble. Despite crowded schedules, members (who currently range in age from 6 to 16) have made the commitment to attend weekly rehearsals. We prepare two to three programs each year which are performed in various venues around Washington County.
