Our Constituent Programs
ArtsBloom ArtsBloom offers art workshops to all who are interested in exploring the arts, learning new skills, or fine-tuning existing skills. All workshops are held in and around the Eastport Arts Center, located at 36 Washington Street in Eastport, Maine. Just a short walk to the ocean, many artists and travelers visit the area in the summertime to capture the raw beauty located on the Bold Coast of Maine. Eastport offers many fun and unique experiences to those who travel or live in the area, and we hope that the Arts Center can complete your seasonal plans.
Eastport Gallery, 74 Water Street The Eastport Gallery was organized in 1985. Currently there are 27member artists members and the gallery has represented 70 artists over the years. Last year's Anniversary Show celebrated their contributions these artists have made to the artistic and cultural life of Eastport and surrounding communities.
Eastport Strings Eastport Strings began in 2001 with six students, rehearsing in a private home. Over the last eight years the program has served more than 50 students, thanks in part to a generous donation of 15 violins and 2 violas from Johnson String Instruments of Massachusetts and to local donors. Children who belong to the Eastport Strings program range in ages from 4 to 18.
